About This Episode
I spent my entire life wanting to be a doctor until I watched my mom die of cancer when I was 20. I then spent most of the next decade chronically ill going to the bathroom 30+ times a day. Nine Urologists could not help. One day I was too sick to take care of my newborn baby and had to crawl to the phone to get help. That day changed my life forever. I went looking in places I did not know existed before then and I found healing through fitness, nutrition, and meditation.
Through that experience I rediscovered my passion for healing and wanted to share what I learned to help others. I began getting certifications in mind, body, & spirt well-being. I now have 16 and study even more. A few include: Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Life Coach, Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Reiki, 3 Levels of Silva Life System/Mind Training and more.
My focus is on every day mindfulness so that you can make more conscious decisions. To be present. To practice self-care. To cultivate compassion. Mindfulness is self-awareness and it a key aspect of emotional intelligence I firmly believe that this is the missing but most vital skill anyone and especially CEOs and leaders need to develop.
